Dr.Barkha, in her simple and engaging style coached the new mommies-to-be about the correct from of exercises, trimester wise exercise program, daily exercise routine,different forms of exercises viz.
The event was a success with enthusiastic Pregnant Mothers who explored their limits by knowing the techniques of Dance during Pregnancy.
Dr.Barkha, in her simple and engaging style coached the new mommies-to-be about the correct from of exercises, trimester wise exercise program, daily exercise routine, different forms of exercises viz. stretching, strengthening and cardio; importance of exercises during labor and busting myths about exercises. The Pregnancy Dance involved a complete 45 minutes session including warm up, dance and cool down and all the mommies-to-be danced to the beats of Dr.Barkha. It was a complete fun filled, full of energy and a power packed workout for the expecting mothers.
The pregnancy dance workshop included a practical session on Kegel’s exercises which are a very helpful in strengthening the muscles that support the uterus; it helps to during delivery and are also very effective in keeping your body toned after delivery. Dr.Barkha answered several questions from the participants who wanted to know how to overcome common pains and discomforts during pregnancy and whether they can sleep on one side or not. The expecting women were surprised with some of the answers, clearing the facts, busting the myths and simple solutions to common pregnancy problems!
The mothers went happy, enjoyed every moment of the session. They went home with a smile, positivity and were able to explore their new limits of mobility during pregnancy.
The 2 hour pregnancy dance Workshop was followed by High Tea and sumptuous snacks. Mommies-to-be interacted with each other over tea and coffee and shared their experiences.
