When to start?
Antenatal Program can be started anytime from 14th week onwards, i.e. after completion of 3 months. Preferably any form of exercise that is out of routine should not be administered during 1st 3 months of pregnancy.
In early phases of pregnancy, there is a sudden change in the hormonal activity of the body. These changes may lead to a very common issue that is Morning Sickness, which is prevalent in most of the pregnancies. Diet is the foremost thing which needs to be taken care to overcome this discomfort.

Are exercises in pregnancy recommended?
It is very much recommended for an easy labor and quick delivery. Even if you weren’t exercising earlier, pregnancy is the best time to start. Get a guided individually tailor made exercise program in our Antenatal Care Classes; know when to start, how many times to exercise, when to stop.

Exercises should be started after completion of 14 weeks. Start with light exercises. Include stretching, strengthening and cardio in daily routine.

Can just walking reduce the labor duration?
Just walking doesn’t help much. You need to do stretching and strengthening of your pelvic floor muscles to open efficiently during birthing.

Yes, they definitely are. These cravings should be attended and included in your diet. We provide diet plans that include naturally available food which are essential during pregnancy. We try to decrease the consumption of external food supplements.

How long can you wait for your delivery?
38 – 42 weeks you can wait to deliver. If even then labor pain doesn’t start, then you may opt for artificial induction of labor. These options should always be discussed with the concerned authority

Normal v/s Caesarean delivery
Childbirth, be it be normal or caesarean, is mother’s tremendous love towards the unborn to get them into this world. Always whenever possible opt for normal delivery. Almost every woman can deliver their baby vaginally unless there is any serious complication. If you have been advised caesarean, you have the right to know and you should ask for the reason.

You are allowed light food, liquid food, various interventions to speed up the process of labor and delivery.

Is it true that baby is too big to deliver vaginally?
Extremely extremely rare phenomenon where there is some medical condition with the baby! Your baby can never out grow you. Concentrate on your exercises and don’t forget Lamaze breathing.

Can milk production ever be inadequate?
Breast feeding is a must. If you don’t feed your baby then the flow will become inadequate and eventually stop. When your baby suck your breasts, then the milk starts producing and it will produce enough to satiate your baby’s hunger. So never doubt your ability. Work on your baby, help them latch and enjoy this bond. Even still if you face any difficulty, we have sessions which are completely dedicated to breastfeeding.

Is there any specific care required during postpartum phase?
Yes. Utmost care is required as body is weak and nutrients are exhausted. Good diet, exercise and self care during this phase will lead to healthy aging. We are always present to assist with the care, diet and exercises required during postpartum phase to help to have ‘young’ aging!

What to do if you have inverted nipples, cracked nipples, engorged breasts?
Always get your breasts examined during pregnancy even if your doctor doesn’t themselves check. There are so many mommies who suffer with these conditions which lead to latching problems, inadequate milk production and the viscous circle starts! Feed time to time to avoid engorged breasts. If still the problem persists, we have solution for that.

What all care is required for the new born?
If you stay alone with your husband, then it is a must to know what all is required for baby care. Is honey at birth really a good option? How to change nappies? When to introduce salt and sugar?
